Welcome to the Kanbu.ai documentation, which will guide you through everything you need to create, configure, and deploy your own conversational AI on your website and other channels.

What is Kanbu.ai

Kanbu.ai is an AI assistant that answers your customers' questions based on your approved knowledge — website content, documents, Drive, RSS, and other sources you provide. It can also connect to your systems (API, MCP) and finish tasks in chat, not only answer FAQ. Besides web chat, it can also answer over the phone — see Voice assistant. Instead of generic answers from the internet, it speaks specifically about your company, products, and services and relies only on the sources you upload. Citations and a visible activity trail keep its answers factual and verifiable.

How it works

• Add data — website, files, Drive, RSS, FAQ. Kanbu.ai processes them into a knowledge base.
• Optionally connect systems — custom API, MCP, forms, skills.
• Customize responses — set the tone, style, and behaviour of the assistant to match your brand.
• Deploy the assistant — embed a short script on your website, or connect a phone number, and the assistant starts answering visitors and callers.
• Track results — reports and conversation history show how it performs so you can improve it over time.
